PERSONAL DATA
Born in Frederick Maryland on July 6, 1951. Moved to Baltimore County Maryland mid July 1951. Attended; Hobby Horse Hall, The Roland Park Country School, The Boy's Latin School, Esquela de International del Staillio en Mexico, The Phelps School in Malvern, Pennsylvania before receiving the high school diploma in 1970 from the Barlow School in Amenia, New York where I was also Dorm President and School Fire Marshal. Awarded the degree of Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art and Cinematography in 1975 from Windham College Putney, Vermont. Graduate work at Keen State College, Keen, New Hampshire. Attended the School for International Training in Brattleboro. Shot 16mm News footage as a stringer throughout the North East for NBC, CBS, & ABC daily electronic feeder services. Moved from Walpole, New Hampshire to Oxford, Maryland in the Spring of 1980 after shooting film for the Official Lake Placid Olympic Film Committee. Shot film for Sports Scene Magazine Channel 2 on the mid-shore area until 1982. Worked for the Mutual Inspection Bureau of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania for three years inspecting properties on the Eastern Shore for several mutual fire insurance companies. Tended bar at the Masthead, Chambers, Embers, and the Inn at Perry Cabin until 1988. Attended the Merrill Lynch School of Real Estate and Passed the Maryland Licensing Exam in 1986. Started the practice of assisting families with their Real Estate needs at LaMotte Properties Inc. Easton, Maryland soon after. Became a founding member of Tred Avon Properties LLC in June of 1998 with Hugh Smith which was purchased by NRT August of 2005 thereby joining the Ranks of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage. Married March 3, 1990 to wife, Leigh Duncan RN; one child, a beautiful Baby girl now 3 1/2 years old. Leigh a graduate of the McQueen Gibbs School of Nursing and has been heard and seen in the media as a past spokes person for the school and for the Eastern Shore Hospital Center. Leigh can also be seen upon the local stage as a member of the Tred Avon Players in Oxford, Maryland. Her most recent endeavor was playing Katie in the musical "The Wake of Jamie Foster". Prior to Nursing Leigh was the proprietor of the Masthead Restaurant in Oxford, Maryland in the late 1980's. Leigh received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland College of Behavioral and Social Sciences. Presently Leigh is working for the Caroline County Health Department as a Child Health Nurse.
