"Giving is the same as receiving."
I love working with people and I love houses, and that is why I became a realtor. I base my business on the philosophy of "Giving is the same as receiving." Prior to becoming a realtor, I was a Fairfax County Public School teacher for 14 years. As a teacher, I helped others achieve their goals, and I still do. I counsel my clients so that they can make good choices. I empower my clients with knowledge, guidance, and support so that they can attain their goals when buying or selling a home.
"Don't judge a book by its cover," but we all do it!
The first impression of a home is always important. When buyers approach a property, they immediately form an opinion about the home from the outside appearance. As a seller's agent, I utilize my landscaping and decorating skills to prepare the seller's home. Presenting a home so that it shows well is extremely important and I encourage my sellers do this. A home will sell faster and for more money if it is in move in condition. As a buyer's agent, I offer ideas to help the buyer envision what decorating and architectural changes might do to change the property so that they may see the home's potential.
Your realtor is your strongest asset in buying or selling your home.
Real Estate is my full time profession. When selling or buying a home, the complexity of the transaction makes it difficult without the assistance of a professional. The purchase or sale of a home is an emotional process, because it is one of the most expensive investments you'll ever make. Your agent must understand your needs, offer guidance in property prices, know the contract, possess negotiating skills, and much more.
